Software for startups
You need a first release that real users can touch, without paying for a platform you have not validated yet. We scope hard, build the smallest version that proves the idea, and leave you with a codebase and a plan rather than a demo.
What usually goes wrong
The scope is the budget
A four-month feature list usually kills a startup before launch. We cut to what proves the idea, and say plainly what we are not building yet.
Handover is the risk
Agencies that sell and then delegate leave you explaining your own product. The two people who scope your project are the two who build it.
We will scale later
Multi-tenant data, permissions and billing are cheap at the start and expensive to retrofit. We design for the second customer on day one.
No one to maintain it
You get the repository, the runbook and the deploy pipeline — not a black box only we can operate.
How we work with you
- 1
A paid discovery week
One week, one document: the release, the data model, the risks, the cost. If we are wrong for each other, you stop there with something usable.
- 2
Smallest honest release
Auth, the core workflow, payments if they are the point — then measure. Everything else waits for evidence.
- 3
Weekly working software
You see the app on a URL every week, not a slide deck. Feedback lands while it is still cheap.
- 4
Launch and hand over
Deploy, observability and a written handover. Continue with us or take it in-house.
Proof, not promises
Questions we get asked
- How long is a first release?
- Typically six to ten weeks for a focused product, including design. Discovery decides the number.
- What does it cost?
- Discovery is a fixed fee; delivery is a fixed scope with a weekly rate behind changes. You get the number before we start.
- Do you work with non-technical founders?
- Most of our startup clients are. We translate decisions into plain language and never hide behind jargon.
- Who owns the code?
- You do, from the first commit. The repository is yours.
